Re: advice wing tube issues

Richard

G4 Pond Sealer is no good at all for laminating fiberglass. Great for finishing models but do not use for laminating cloth as it will not cure properly in thick(ish) layups .

Arthur
The standard JR switch will handle the 7.4v higher voltage with no problem.

Re: Futaba14sg

Mike Just seen your thread on arriving back from a good week at Cheddar. The 14SG is quite simple.....if you know where to look for the programs you want. Are you going to Cosford next weekend as if you are I would be more than happy to sit down with you and take you through the transmitter step by ...

Re: John Goodwin retracts for DB Hurricane

Hi Ian
I want a set to copy to a larger scale so they will not end up in a model. I will have no use for them once the scaling has been done.
Happy to borrow or purchase.

John Goodwin retracts for DB Hurricane

Hi All

I am looking for a set of John Goodwin retracts for the DB Hurricane. A broken or damaged set or even just one would help. I dont need the vave or air system.
Anyone got anything lying around they would part with.

Yes Richard. The wire used on fuel tank fittings will be fine.

Re: Please Help with tiger moth

Do you have any locking wire for the turnbuckles as you will need some. If you do not have any then pick up some 10 amp fuse wire and bring it with you.

I will be at Tibbenham and would be happy to give you a quick lesson on how to do the rigging so you can have a go yourself.

Re: Mick Reeves 25% Spitfire Build

On my Tiggy the ducting takes air in through the scale inlet at the front of the cowl and then directs it through the fins . The carbs are above the ducting and draw cold air in from the atmosphere. sorry, no pictures until next time I take the cowl off !?

Re: Mick Reeves 25% Spitfire Build

Rob just been looking back through this thread and noticed that your ducting around the motor is on the opposite side to the carbs. This means that the carbs will be drawing in hot air heated by the cylinder heads. This is not an ideal situation as motors work much better if the carbs are fed cold a...

Re: The Ghost Squadron Presents Cheddar and Binham 2017

Less than 8 weeks to go to Cheddar now.
There are still some camping spaces left for those who would like to make a week or a few days of it. Day visitors also welcome.
