Re: AIRCRAFT FOR FEATURE FILM

David,

Sounds interesting.

Dave Whiston has a large Heinkel 111 which I think has just been test flown - not sure of the scale

Re: What would you do?

Dave, From what I've seen C-47's were painted in a number of slightly different shades. So anyone who can definitely say yours is wrong is talking b*******s. My only comment is that it does look a but shiny (this could be caused by the flash). I would just apply a dirty wash to make it look a bit mo...

Re: Mosquito Cowls?

The Mossie in the top photo is the airworthy FB.26 which is now in the US and is marked to look like a WW2 fighter/bomber. The Mossie in your bottom photo is a much later post-war B.35 that is soon to fly in Canada. The most famous fighter bomber variant was the FB VI which was used for example on O...

Stewart,

Yes we have found a temporary home at the Royal British legion in Bottisham.

We have our re-opening on the Sunday 29th April - don't know if you could bring over any WW2 models??

David, Many thanks for your interest in our project - I have to say I have long admired your work and have often looked longingly at your website  We have a full set of engineering drawings on DVD although there are couple of folders that don't open very well - so another set would be welcome. ...

Re: P51 Mustang Big Beautiful Doll Rebuild

Good spot.

On the underside these were buzz numbers put on after the end of the war to make it easier to identify bored fighter jocks flying too low!

During WW2 these wouldn't have been their.

Hi Aaron,

Will be good to see you & the jock.

Sim pit idea on back burner - I think we have decided to make an accurate as possible replica of Lou IV/Athlene.
