Re: CAA Operator I.D...what did we pay for

All Mike is asking for is his operators ID so he can put it on his models. I can't remember if it was emailed to us or if it was included in the last magazine. Sorry, it's this s****en age thing again. Perhaps it could be sent him again Rob. Once he has that he can then figure the best way of putti...

Re: CAA Operator I.D...what did we pay for

Mike- you should have received an email from

caa@notifications.service.gov.uk Check your spam or junk folder, around 13th Feb to see if it is there.

Re: CAA Operator I.D...what did we pay for

You only need the one number, example OP-LW9XJQD, which needs to be marked on each model in letters over 3mm high where it can be read without removing wings etc.

Re: Cruise

I'm glad Steve Thomas persuaded me to go over when I did, otherwise it would all have fallen foul of the virus problems. We did have some wobbles with Thomas Cook, but I'm glad we didnt leave it until Spring as we originally planned. Its great to see him and Julie doing well, and the evenings on the...

Re: CAA Operator I.D...what did we pay for

It sounds a bit silly, we were told that EASA was independent of the EU, which is obviously false. I can see why they want more money- "ADS has estimated that it would take 10 years and cost up to £40m annually to create a UK safety authority with all the expertise of EASA, against a current co...

Re: CAA Operator I.D...what did we pay for

They could have simply stood up and said that registration would be pointless and saved money ! We did. And stand by that. I am still bemused at who the 80,000 people are who are not in one of the associations, and therefore not insured, yet are happy to give £9 to the CAA for a number...I have no ...
