NOW SOLD I am selling my Stearman as I am not flying large models anymore. It comes with Hitec high voltage servos all around. 2x 3000 mah 2 S Lipos for the radio, a 3800 mah Life for the ignition and fuel pump, and a 1300 mah lipo for the navigation light system. It has 2 kill switches as you need to control the Ignition separately from the fuel pump. The engine was bought from Morris Mini Motors in July this year and so is still under warranty. The airframe weighs 10 Kg and the engine weighs 4 Kg and has a thrust of 12.5 Kg. I have a 26x10 Menze prop fitted with an aluminum spinner. This engine and fuel pump cost over £2000. The true-scale dashboards are from Aerocockpit and there is a scale pilot fitted. It currently has an RRS powerbox system fitted with 2 receivers, hence the two batteries, as I fly Spektrum DSM 2. These will be removed or are open to negotiation.
Covered in Oracover with one under top wing patch and one patch on the lower fuselage side due to a throttle servo failure, downwind, and the resultant heavy landing which resulted in stress fractures to the wing roots which are all now properly fixed. I have had 7 flights this season and the engine has had 1.5 tanks of fuel through on the ground of a 950cc tank. It flies really well, is very stable, and looks truly scale in the air.
