....and up to date......we're now on with test fitting all of the streamlined st/st landing/flying wires so all of the fixing fairings can be trimmed to fit.

The final detailing is now complete & we're now part way through application of the final clear coat.........final assembly & systems install should be underway within the next week or so.

Impressive dedication Phil! and what a fine looking instrument panel!

The whole thing is a work of art,i've yet to see cleaner work.

Do you know how many hours clocked up so far?

First parts through the spray booth finished in 2K gloss lacquer.......more to follow over the next few days.

Finished with the final clear coat........as per the spats etc.....full gloss on the 'metal' cowl & forward fuselage with a satin on all fabric covered sections to give a degree of contrast between the smooth metal surfaces & the slight texture of the fabric.

Ploughing on well with the final assembly & systems install.......outer wing panel finished, tail surfaces, servos & linkages installed & landing gear fitted.......also finished the 'Curtiss' markings on the prop........combination of masks & paint for the black & orange finished off with a dry set rub on decal for the silver (+ a KK satin clear to seal & protect)
