Re: Sad News

Sorry to hear about Dave. Had a long and wonderful chat at Much Marcle a couple of years ago about his magic carpet. Our thoughts with his family.

Re: CAD designer needed please

Spoken to all the usual people who make kits, no one can help. I’m hoping now to enlarge the 3 view drawings and take it from there.

No one with CAD ??

CAD designer needed please

Dear All I have a request for any forum member who is a wiz with CAD. I’ve been thinking and planning for a year or so about a project I’d like to do in retirement, still a few years off. I have several sheets of plans for a Wittman D-12 Bonzo. It was originally built in 1934 by Steve Wittman and wa...

Have a look at the DLE twins. I like my DLE engines a lot, though they are singles.

Re: EME 120 twin problems

FYI, changed prop from 26x12 to 28x10 and gave it another run. Starts easily, nice idle and after some needle fine tuning picks up well. Stock settings was 1 1/4 out from closed on high and low, ended up 1 1/4 high and 1 1/2 low.

Thanks again

Re: EME 120 twin problems

Tony and other you’ve been very helpful, thanks. 32:1 oil ratio, with high grade Castrol 2t. I’ve used it since I’ve started running gas engines. I get my fuel from the local Texaco garage and not the supermarket Started it up this afternoon. The problem has disappeared! I don’t know the fault which...

Re: EME 120 twin problems

Morning The exhaust are just empty tubes, so no reason to look any deeper. Lapped the reed cage very lightly. There is a film of fuel sealing all around the edges Turned over the engine slowly, no ppphhhrrrttt from the reeds On taking the carb cover off to check the metering lever height, I don't re...
