Re: Advice sought for fuel pump for a Moki 180cc Radial

Nigel. Sorry but I do not know what walbro carb is used, but I think you will find that the filter Is the same for all, and the offer still stands. I bought my 150 new in 2007, 50-1 mix, 4.8v ignition battery, no pump, 26"x 16" prop, perfect every time. Enjoy it. Brian..

Re: Advice sought for fuel pump for a Moki 180cc Radial

MOKI RADIAL. Nigel, before you do anymore testing of your engine there is one thing you must do if only to eliminate that it could be the starting problem. It will require the engine to be removed from the airframe, then you will have access to the carb, remove the carb and take off the fuel input c...

26"x16" prop.

Dose anyone have an unwanted 26"x16"Menz prop. would prefer undrilled, but if drilled it must be for a Moki 150 radial with one pair of holes dead in line with the blades, so it will fit my spinner cutouts. sadly I wont be at Cosford on Sunday because my right foot is waiting to have stitc...

Stewart, just letting you know that the new wing is complete ready for glassing. We had to miss Gaydon because Sean had covid, and both myself and Paul were suffering with heavy colds. ps. I celebrated my 90th birthday two day's ago. Brian..

Re: Elvington Show

Ian. I totally agree with you. My transmitter is a Futaba 12G, and for 14 years the choke switch has been set on switch SA which is a 3 position switch and a short lever. However one flight last year the engine was not at it's best, so I landed ok, and found that the choke switch was in the middle p...

Elvington LMA show last week. Firstly I would like to thank everyone who helped to retrieve my Hawker Tempest after the loss of power which resulted in the model landing in the rough grass area, severely damaging the wings. Two pilots I would like to mention are Stewart Clifford, and Mick Butler, ma...

Re: Alex Whittaker, photographer extreme, R.I.P

As Paul said above, what a shock. Alex sat with myself and Paul Crawshaw at the Pontefract vintage flying event thee weeks ago and he was on his best. Our condolences to his family, he will be very much missed in the hobby.

Re: Moki 215cc tuning or...?

Frank. The problem could be that you are using far too much oil. I have been flying my Moki 150cc for years in my Hawker Tempest using Bell- Ray H1-R 100% synthetic 2T at 50-1, and in hundreds of flights it has never stopped in the air. Give it a try, 32-1 is for running in. Best of luck, Brian.. LM...

26"x16" prop.

Does anyone have a Menz or Fiala 26"x16" prop, if used drilled for a Moki 150 radial that is surplus to your requirements. Many Thanks. Brian.
