Re: Open Tx or Edge Tx?

I've used Edge Tx on my RM TX16s and find it absolutely fine but I was used to Open TX so no problems at all yet . Everything as OTX so it's just choice really but the touch screen does help sometimes with scrolling and selecting especially where you need to select using the roller and it moves when...

Re: Which transmitter help ?

Marc The Radiomaster TX16S is multi protocol with hall effect sticks and available for around £130 delivered from UK suppliers . It runs all flavours of DSM and DSMX plus FRSKY receivers and many more and is a full range job with telemetry, colour screen etc downside is the OpenTX operating system w...

Re: Turning 20x8 propellers

Thanks Cary Propguy has a pair for £3 not worth finding a piece of shim or brass for that . Then if I break a prop press them out into spare .
Cheers

Turning 20x8 propellers

hi I have a Turnigy 20x8 propeller turn up and the pre drilled hole is larger than the Zenoah 38cc shaft by about 1mm ( guessing not measured yet) how can get this sorted ? Looks to small to machine a collet , in the past I have used metal from drinks can as a shim to go around the shaft for zero pl...

Re: Slow moving servos

Interesting about the servos but on checking it's bound on 22ms , if you try and bind it on 11ms it gives a warning that digital servos are needed and as it's a trainer for a big plane novice (me) I don't think there necessary. The servos I've used before and have been excellent up to now 4M-556AMG-...

Re: Slow moving servos

Think I may have found my own problem , the Life battery is sagging below 6 volts with a load ( I measured off load ) , it's a new battery but may need cycling . Try as I might I cannot replicate it with NiMh battery . Still don't understand the mechanics though if it's low volts why go slowly then ...

Slow moving servos

Hi I'm currently fitting out a Sky120 with Spectrum AR8010T receiver and 4Max metal geared servos and have a strange anomaly . When I first power up the receiver if I waggle the rudder or elevators (2) all the surfaces move slowly for the first 5/10 seconds then it clears and I can't get that to hap...

Re: New Zenoah 38cc

Got another question regarding the Z38 when fitted in an airframe , how do you operate the throttle with its sideways style ? I'm guessing something like a bellcrank but can't visualise it , anyone got a diagram or picture they could share ? Just a thinking a bellcrank would require some space under...

New Zenoah 38cc

I am new to bigger petrol engines and have bought a Zenoah 38cc to eventually put in a follow on trainer or similar . I always like to learn my engines before committing to an air frame so have mounted it on a frame with a servo/receiver combo to keep my fingers away . It started ok and ticks over n...
