I had one of those, it ran really well but a bit thirsty. Biggest problem was starting it cold, once warmed up it was fine.

Not necessarily, it all depends on the contacts inside the switch. I bought 2 JR switches which looked ok but when the outer case was removed there was just a smaller slide switch inside with 4 of the terminals cut off just leaving a single pole contact. The originals use 2 pole switching, live and ...

Yes I did it for a mate to operate wing swing on a small Tornado. You first need to remove the internal stops on the gearbox to allow it to rotate fully, then take the wires off the feedback pot.
I will have to check what I did next.

Do we renew with LMA first to get to get CAA reg number, then with BMFA so they don't ask for £9 as well? Assuming like me some of you are members of both. Also how do I prove my BMFA competency to the LMA?

Yes Steve I read the articles and knew about the capacitors but tried it anyway and it worked. I added about 12 inch to the wires. Maybe I was lucky.

I can't see why you should not extend the battery wires, I did it on a mosquito with no problems. Lipo were in the fuz with escs and motors in the nacelles.
