Re: time

Dave IIRC each user needs to set this as the ACP only has settings for guest users. John if you click on the " User Control Panel " link near the top left side of the forum, then click on the tab " Board preferences ." There you see " My timezone ", that should be set t...

Re: Model shops in Hong Kong

You could also check out Radar Co, mate of mine went there few years ago when he was a frequent flyer to and from HK. They've got OS, DA, 3W and Zenoah to name some of the stock. You can see some pictures(or not depending on the firewall mood) from his visit here http://flugmodel.net/viewtopic.php?i...

Re: A New Beginning

You can get apps that minimize pictures so it's easier to post them.

I'm using one called Minima, free version adds text ad on edited photos, and there are others.

JetPower Messe 2013 pictures

Went on a road trip with good friends from Denmark last month and attended the JetPower Messe for the first time. For those who haven't gone yet it's well worth it, stop thinking about it and just go for it! :) I took one or two(or four thousand) pictures along with short videos so hopefully someone...

Re: psychology of losing a plane

If it's just my stuff and no one is hurt I can live with it! As others have said I've written it off when it's bought and everything I get out of it after that is a bonus. Be it flight time or resale value. As fate would have it I never had a major mishap until after I got my first large jet, lol. I...

Re: A New Beginning

Good job!

John Greenfield wrote:Is it just me or is there a problem with the Models and Resources tabs at the top of the home page. When I click on either of them there is only one line in the selection box. It looks like the box is behind the photos so it can't be seen.

Works fine here on Firefox/IE/Chrome.

Re: 12mm stepped reamer

Not sure what the correct name for them is but electricians over here have reamers that are straight and in multi stages.

Similiar to this one > http://www.multiwiicopter.com/products/prop-reamer-6mm-7mm-8mm-10mm-12mm < maybe you can check around with sparkies on your end?

Cosford 2003

About 10 years ago we celebrated the 100 years of flight at the Cosford show. Small group of modellers from Iceland were on the scene. I finaly got my hand on a bit of video from the trip. I hope you enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz1eKAo-oLs If you want to add information about people or pla...

Re: as a matter of ‘boredom’ sorry interest

Been all white here(Iceland) since the end of November, all gone now and a perfect day at the field today! :D The most has been something like 18-25" of snow coming down in 24 hours, so pretty standard winter(apart from the last decade or so) stuff realy. Vince, it's all about getting to the fi...
