I'd like to second that and add Ian and Doreen for organising the fly-in, Not much flying done due to the wind, but had a good natter with old friends and also met some new ones in the resident flying club, a great weekend.

Mine is the charger that came with the set when you plug it in to charge you get a red light at both the receiver and the transmitter outlets, when fully charged the red lights change to green as and when each is full. The bottom of the transmitter does sometimes get warm depending on how long it's ...

Hi Alan, Sorry to hear about your SG14, Bought mine new when they first came out, had no problems been very satisfied I only use the charger that came with the set, Still got the original battery in, just charge until the green light is showing and that seems to last for a whole weekends flying. I don't know Haydock Park but would think there's a named snack bar we could all meet at, at a pre arranged time say 11am. might even have a coffee together. Perhaps DJ could help us with this info. Thats my 5 pennyworth any other ideas.

That brings back memories of my control line days, I new there was a way just could not remember it, You've stirred my brain I can now recall using meths but with blotting paper and a hot clothes iron. Thanks again thats tomorrows job..........

I am at present refurbishing a Piper Super Cub which has been flying for the past 10yrs. We also did one at the NEC B'ham some while ago, We had quite a few aircraft on display and spent all weekend chatting to all sorts of people about our hobby, most of whom were amazed at the quality and size of our models.
