Does anyone have one of these kits either untouched or part done for a club mate. He likes mine so much he wants one of his own (there's no accounting for taste). They are 8 foot span. Cash waiting. Thanks.
Thanks for the comments Tim. The geodetics were time consuming but worth it. I get to take the model to a few events each year (mostly LMA shows) and fly it locally in the North West. I plan to do a bit more scale detail over the winter when my workshop is up and running. The windows need cross memb...

Sad to hear of Claude's passing. He was a true gent. I had many an interesting chat with him whilst a member at Catton. Another fine LMA member lost and WW2 veteran.
Hi Richard. Karl sold this recently. I have one the same but easy start instead of spring start. All new in a box untouched. You might be fixed up now but if not you can have this for the same amount.
As above selling on behalf of another modeller. Little used 62 which looks in good order with strong compression. The unit is sold with the hall sensor but no ignition unit. These are easily available. Can supply a standard silencer from my own box of bits if needed. £175 Please ring for further det...
Thanks Andy. With the engines sorted out and retracts air leak fixed I finished the test flights OK and got the paperwork through. Needing some decent weather now to fly the Beechcraft and other toys new for the season.
Hi Andy. Not too bothered about the exact scale position. I preferred to site the wheel where it is for structural and practical reasons to do with assembly. No doubt it will be pointed out to me on the flight line together with the lack of rivets... Please post the video ASAP after yours takes to t...
Hi Andy. Good effort but this was made from bits of leftovers. Cost me nowt. Must be a Stoke on Trent thing... did you sort out your Tx issues? Can't wait to see test flight video. Regards Steve

I always had my eye on this project after seeing it at Pete Siggins house a while ago. Since then it has had several owners but after seeing it up for sale again I travelled to the edge of the known earth (Barrow in Furness) and struck a deal. At that point it had still not been flown. Some modifica...
Does anyone out there have one of the above. Cash waiting or I can trade in a brand new Zenoah 26 magneto plus the difference. Please ring me on 07967 598993. Thanks.
Hi Nick. I just covered my model with 25g cloth and used G4 pond sealer. I trimmed off the cloth after the first application and sanded the edges. After that I put another coat on and sanded that down with 240 grade then a third cold again sanding down before the primer. The third coat might sound e...
