Re: HITEC 225MG Servo fault

Hi Rob,
Probably right. I have to hope they are really as the option is the tx. The upside is lots of spare gears for MG225's though.

Re: HITEC 225MG Servo fault

Many thanks for all the replies chaps. Re Rob B's question. It may do it once and then be OK for for a few switch on/off's and then do it again. I noticed that they sometimes hover about the center before settling down. I have replaced them when I found them faulty, usually on the workbench, new out...

HITEC 225MG Servo fault

I have been a keen user of Hitec servos but I have now had three MG225 develop a worrying fault. From new, out of the box, connected up for the first time, on three different models, the servo cycles from end to end. It might settle after a few seconds and appear OK but! I have switched my Tx to the...

WANTED. SPRING AIR RETRACTS

WANTED. SPRING AIR RETRACTS OR PARTS. I think they are 700 series. 90 deg. Cylinder measures 2 inches long. O.D. 3/4 inch and the ram is probably 5/8 inch. The (pintal?) bit the oleo fits into accepts a 1/2 inch oleo and the leg retracts parallel to the cylinder. The part I really need is the pintal...

UNUSUAL SUBJECT TO FINNISH.

KRAFT SUPERFLY. I believe the real thing was a home constructed aeroplane designed and built by a modeler. This model was drawn up and started quite a few years ago, not by me, and just needs someone to finish it off. Conventional materials throughout. Five (standard servos fitted but probably not u...

Great Journal, Sad news

Just read the spring Journal. Another very good issue. It was however very sad to hear about Andy and Joan. Andy was a friend I only ever saw when we attended the same shows but it was always like meeting a long lost brother. I will miss him. There was an award, a turbine blade, highly polished, mou...

Re: Noise abatement?

Hi Dave,

Yes, you could put me down for that. My alternative plan was to "linger about" before setting up and put myself at the back or end of the lines.

Cheers, Bob Hart

Noise abatement?

Is it just me? Recently received my booking forms back for Easter at East Kirkby (thanks John) and read through the notes for on site camping. Bearing in mind the happenings last year, a good idea. What brought back some memories for me though was the mention of Generators. I, because of work and di...

BATTERY REQUIREMENTS FOR 2.4

Gentlemen, I am in the process of converting my Futaba FF12 from 35meg to the required 2.4 for the shows. I shall be using the Futaba FAAST system. I seem to remember that when 2.4 started up there was a worry that it required 6v flight packs or they were certainly recommended. Have we moved on or i...

Spitfire Anniversary

I'm sure many will have heard that this year is the annaversary of the first flight of the Spitfire. Seventy five years. It might be a good to have a "Spitfire" slot at the shows this year. I believe last year was a Battle of Britian annaversary and as such there was a slot at the Rufforth...
