Very sad news indeed. Tony was one of lifes good guy, always amicable and a genuine nice chap. He will be sadly missed by the LMA and the aviation world in general. He never made a big deal of it, but I think It should be Tony Hooper OBE

This sounds like a scammer. I had a similar communication for one of my kits. the cheques were us dollar travellers cheques, $3000 for a £500 kit. I checked with the police who said no crime was committed until i cash them then if they are stolen or counterfeit I would be charged . I told the buyer ...
