PowerBox Systems?

Hi,
Is anyone using Powerbox systems with FrSky radios?
I'm currently building a large bi-plane and i'm going to use a FrSky X20s radio in it and would like to use a powerbox to power the servos.

Re: Graupner Hott 24-MZ Transmitter problems

I had that trouble with some of the small 6 channel RX's, in the end they wouldn't even bind to he TX. I've had no trouble with the 12 channel RX i have. Re: Twin receivers

Hi All, Thanks for the comments regarding the FrSKY RX. I'm not currently flying any models large enough to require 2 rx's but will use 2 in the Mosquito when i get that finished.

Happy New Year.

Re: Twin receivers

On the subject of dual receivers. Would you still need two rx's if you were using one of the new FrSky dual band TD R18 rx with twin battery inputs?

Re: Open Tx or Edge Tx?

I run my TX16s in Open Tx, never had any issues with it so far. I have heard people have had some issues with Edge and have flashed their units back to Open TX? I also run TBS CrossFire on the same TX (external module)

I use M5 or M6 steel wing bolts with spring washers on my large models , never had one come loose yet.

Re: DB Hurricane 81”

Hi Chris, I've got my old set of Unitracts which i'm going to use. I think i put the air bottle in the fuel tank area along with the valve under the removable tank hatch. I have seen the air tanks built into the wing with the fill valve hidden in the radiator that way you can keep everything contain...

Re: DB Hurricane 81”

Keep the tail end as light as possible. I had one of the old kits with foam wings, even with a ZG38 it needed alot of nose weight.

I've just started another "old kit" DB Hurricane with foam wings so we will see how this one goes.

Ziroli Corsair Retracts.

Hi,
I'm after a standard main set of 150Z Lg. Rotating Retracts to suit a Ziroli Corsair.
Must be in good condition and working order.

Ziroli Corsair.

Hi All,
I'm in the process of building a Ziroli Corsair.
I have a spare DLE 55RA engine which i was thinking of fitting in the model. Do people think this would be powerful enough for the model?

Re: An Update on the UK Regulations for Model Flyers

The problem i have with having to display your id number on your model is whats to stop people copying it and then flying how they like? Guess who the police are going to come and see? After all its your registration number so it must have been you.

Re: Simple to build first project

As mike says the Greenley or Lowley models are both good fliers and simple to build. My lowley is a lovely flying model and if you have low wing experience don't let the size put you off.
Where in the South East are you?
