twin engine set up

Hi I have built a twin engine sport model with Futaba 16 radio, i have the throttles channels mixed in 3 and 5 ,no problems however the throttle trim works both motors. They would be easier to set up if i could assign a separate trim leaver for each motor, i have tried various mixes but none work, a...

Re: JR PCM9X11

Hi Graham You do not state how many channels you have on the RX, you need one for each servo that can then be set up individually and assigned to the same switch. If you have to use a Y lead you can get a servo reverser that will plug into one of the servos in the Y lead ,how ever what ever adjustme...

zenoa exhaust

Hi I have just acquired a old Z38 with a rear exhaust and no choke carb. The silencer fitted ( silver in colour )is the same as I see in pictures of this engine, however there are no exhaust down pipes as such, just a few slots cut in the silence to let the exhaust gasses out. If fitted in side a co...

Re: voltage regulators

Hi Stuart Re batteries ,size for size lipo are half the price ,the higher voltage of life whilst ok for Rx use is too high for the 4.8 volt servo`s I use. So which ever battery I choose it would need a voltage regulator Just to rekindle the two battery debate ,I did as a lad i power my models with a...

voltage regulators

Hi I am looking to use a 2cell lipo to run a 4.8 volt Rx system, but can not find any of the voltage regulators that used to be around. So me thinks could i use the BEC side of a electric speed controller to run the system , ( not running any electric motor just 4 servos and the RX ) Thanks for your...

Re: building a two piece fusalage

Hi Scott I have just read your post ,twice in fact as I could not see the reason for you to send it . The make of car I have is totally irrelevant as the model will either fit inside or it wont. In my case the wings will and the fus wont. Hence my inquiry about two peace fus. I have since found a po...

Re: film covering adhesive

Hi Barrie The product you need was called Primol, made by Solafilm. no longer available. Back in the old days I used to clean car tyre inner tubes with a liquid that had the same distinctive smell as Primol, before applying glue then the patch, It was known as Tip TOP solvent cleaner. I wonder if so...

R/C Switches

Hello Every one I would appreciate some advice regarding on/off switches as used with a Rx battery pack. (2cell lipo ) I have in the past used JR switches Now I have looked on the web and I find that JR type switches are very much cheaper than those with a label on them. But are rated 3amps at 240 v...

ngk spark plugs

Hi
Could some one please tell me the correct plug electrode gap on a NGK CM6 spark plug as fitted to a OS 33 petrol engine. As there is no mention of this in the operators hand book.
Thanks for your time
Arthur.
