Re: Jet Provost question

Hi Bob, regarding the WW Jet Provost. I have purchased the rights etc from Chris to bring the Provost home. As you are aware I initially designed and built the prototype so I decided to take it a step further. Using the prototype airframe I have in motion a fibreglass fuselage being produced. New pl...

Re: NEXT sport jet by Mirce

I used skinning resin from easy composites. I would use heavier cloth on the underside of the fuzz to protect from hanger rash or a wheels up landing.

Re: Wanted

I have a 35 rear exhaust rcgf which has only been test run. Change of plans has made it no longer needed.

Re: 1/3 Spitfire

Along with the P-51 mould I got the Spitfire mould which my airframe was pulled from. To be honest it’s pants, it has major weathering damage to the outside where the flanges and other areas have rotted away. The gel coat is crazed due to incorrect laying up along with damage caused when ejecting my...

Re: 1/3 Scale P-51

Following my request for a new Canopy for my P-51 I was given an offer to purchase the Fuselage, canopy and spinner moulds. The fuselage mould is in very good condition inside after a clean up but needs tidying outside as it has a few rough edges, the canopy mould is broken but repairable and the sp...

Re: 1/3.3 Hispano Buchon

A little more work done just doing all the fiddly bits to get it ready for glassing. The test retract has been fitted and apart from a 1/32 spacer fitted a treat. A test fit of the wing showed no problems, just the cowl now.

Re: 1/3.3 Hispano Buchon

I have made some more progress with the Buchon, the wing is ready for top sheeting and is waiting for the completion of the retracts to test fir before sheeting. The fuselage is now completed ready for glassing and all tail feathers done.

P-51 Canopy 1/3 Scale Wanted

Hi I am in need of a new canopy for my 1/3 scale P-51. There are a few of these airframes about so I would presume there is a plug for pulling new replacements. I have a man who can pull the canopy if that is a problem. Cheers Dave

Re: 1/3 Spitfire

Due to a delivery failure at work I spent the day on my 1/3 scale projects. I had bonded the engine mount into the fuselage with a special polyester filler adhesive then glassed the joints for extra grip coverage.

Re: 1/3 Scale P-51

Started to get the fuselage ready for the new wing and engine mount. Cutting out the old work was a nightmare of a job but it’s getting there.
