Hi Phil. Thanks for the comment re Scarf (scarph) joints. on the ply sheet and balsa sheet we have chosen a method related to finger jointing. Its not clear on the photograph but we have machine cut the ends to the finger shapes on each of the sheet which should give us the strength along the length...

Hi John . The stringers above were planned prior to CNC cutting but the bottom one was not and I took on board your comments at the show and fitted these with a small plate only to increase the glue area of the sheet.
