I have been in informed via a club email that at the momrnt the CAA are not issuing any hight exemptions for models over 7 kilos.Is this correct?

Morning Arthur,found some Primol hidden in my shed,but does not seem to work with Hobby King iron on film.I am thinking of going down the double sided tape route.

Cary,thanks,I need it for canopy trim to match the fus,but cannot use a hot iron for obvious reasons.

Afternoon folks,site is very quiet.Back in the old days I seem to remember using a solvent that could be rubbed on to the back of Solarfilm and the like,this would then activate the adhesive to enable the film to be stuck down without using heat,Anyone out there know what the liqued was/is? Was it not 400 ft long before we had telemetry on our radio? We must want something to-do being on a forum Boxing day .I have built 3 models during lockdown,finished all my housework for the day,I will now try and workout how I have B up my Taranis radio.

It was used to line the inside of fuel tanks on aircraft in WW2 and to line liqued gas tankers.So I think our toys have always been way down the list of preferd users.

My twin has flown twice,so far.The two prop blades come together at the bottom.No problems,as yet, but only two flights in.

prop rotation electric twin

I am looking at the front of the model,does the left motor rotate clockwise or anti clockwise.I want to use the ability of an electric motor to run in either direction, to avoid swing at take off,also less effect if power setups are not identical.Thank you in antisipation,as they say.

I totalled the glass fibre fus on my Wilga.Wings and tail OK so design and build of a new fuselage required.I have a 1/48th 3 view drawing.If I check the angles the fus datum line is 0,the tail is 0,the engine is +4 and the wing is +7.Has anyone out there got a 1/5th or larger that they could check ...

Cannot help you with the product,but a question,who are the Lighthorne LMA group?I live 12 miles from Lighthorne,am a founding father of the LMA and have never heard of you.We used to fly at RAF Gaydon.I am of course assuming that it is the Lighthorne near me,if not,ignore my question.

Rob ref email received to-day,if we are in the LMA and BMFA do we have to register with both,ie £18.I suspect that most LMA members are in the BMFA also.
