Hi there Andy I made my own tyres from laminations of kids crash matt with custom cnc machined hubs very cheap and pretty light.

40% sga 1-30 motorglider/tow plane

Hi guys over the past 5 years and in betwen many other models my 40% motorglider has finaly taken to the air. the first flight was interesting to say the least with a tailheavy model but subsequent flights have shown the model to be a real sweatheart. Construction is of balsa ply fuse with foam core...

thats a gorgous looking model, it's a shame you had so many dilemas with the kit. I really must get arounf to building a 50% RF 4, maybe after my 40% pawnee and super dimona build.
