Fuel Tank

Parts ready and cleaned.

Vent and overfill put in place towards the rear of the fuel tank, and the filter added inside.

ZG38 SC Trumpet Flange Both parts dry cleaned. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1955/45112266692_2a92d417ff_z.jpg Both parts glued in place together with 30 min Epoxy, once the glue was placed on both parts I was turning the trumpet for 30 mins until the Epoxy was set to get an even covering. https://...

Firewall

All holes have now been drilled, next step is to add 3/8 sq hardwood strip for the cowl, and then fit the cowl around the ZG38 SC.

Wing Fixing Tongues These are parts W20 and W21 and when glued together are inserted and glued next to the root rib W1, but because they are not think enough I will be gluing a piece of 1/32 ply inbetween the two to make it the correct thickness. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1908/30223781187_02428...

In this photo I have placed both wings together then placed this on top the fuselage, I'm now starting to see how big the Sky 120 is, as you can also see the Sky 120 now has a set of wheels.

Another close up photo where the male peg is insreted into the scrap block in the left wing making it very strong, a good tight fit.

Placed both wings together using the glass spar, a good fit when placed together, left wing still to be skinned.

Left Wing Made a block of wood out of scrap 3/8" sheet and placed in between rib W1 and W2, this is for the male plug when both wings are placed together, this was glued in place with epoxy, once dry this is very strong and the wing can be lifted by holding onto this part only, though this woul...
