I'd better start thinking about another build then. (Need a bigger shed soon!)

Try Halfords, they do puncture repair kits, and they also do plastic etch primer (for car bumpers).

Re: esc extension

Many thanks all. It's just a pipe dream at the moment, but my experience with large electric so far has been encouraging, and I do love the ww1 planes!
So far: 1/4 scale Albatros C.iii, 1/4 scale Pfalz D.Xii, and DH 9a on the building board. :D

esc extension

I'm aware battery cables to the esc shouldn't be extended without a capacitor bank, but is it ok to extend esc to motor cables. Looking forward a long way I'd like to build either a hp 0400 or a vickers vimy. The weight of the batteries would need to be as far forward as possible, in the fuselage no...

Re: An Update on the UK Regulations for Model Flyers

As I understand it, pilot a would be prosecuted for allowing the flight, and pilot b for carrying out the flight. It may be that both are charged with one offence as "joint enterprise". If the video of the illegal flight was posted on YouTube, and the FTC thought it might appeal to childre...

The type face and font are not specified, only minimum size. I'm going to use Roman numerals! :D

Re: Reciever switches

A question.
If the multiplex safety switch continues to supply battery power to the rx if the mechanical switch fails, how does it sense the difference between being switched off, and switch failure?

The whole document issued by the CAA is full of contradictions and mistakes. If they can't get this right, I don't trust them to hold my details secure.

Gigaset, Medion, TechniSat, are the only makes that affect the Spitfire (they are all German manufacturers) :D

Rob, I love flying ww1 types and use aileron differential on all of my bipes. I also mix ail/rudder, but that's because I've got a lazy rudder thumb!

Re: Futaba 9C programming help

Tony, I'm picking my daughter up from Stansted airport Monday evening. I'd be happy to pop in Monday afternoon and give you a hand with your transmitter. It's probably easier to show you rather than trying to write it down, and it'll only cost you a cup of tea! Cheers Steve 01698 811446 home 07802 4...
