Probably on the small side for your needs. I have a lightly used Saito FA 325R5 glo engine, in its box with all the supplied accessories when new. Also to suit it a McDaniel on-board glo driver and an unused Keleo exhaust ring.
Happy to have helped. There is also a write up of the construction, with pictures, in the January/February 1999 edition of RC Scale International. You may have guessed by now I was suitably impressed by the model at the time. Best of luck with yours.
Barrie, I suppose you were obeying orders so forgiven. Its probable that someone in HTRG is already in the process of donning a wet suit and organising transport, they are pretty fanatical in the pursuit of parts. Actually they have a Tempest fuselage from India although I believe that would be a Mk...
Hi all. Took a trip yesterday down to Uckfield the HQ of the Hawker Typhoon Restoration Group for their members open day. The objective of this group is to restore a Typhoon to be the only flying example in the world. Considering all the RAF's Typhoons were scrapped shortly after WW2 it was astoundi...

Not many people know what a WG Meteor looks like, so here is a YouTube link of this model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlIX4OpTBYg m_IMG_1838.jpg All of the litho decking is easily removable so a buyer can add his servo's...
Hello Steve, Thanks for the Pittards lead, thought to try some for an SE5a cockpit combing and headrest. Arrived this morning looks very promising much better than the vinyl type stuff I had put by i.e. very thin, soft and pliable with a lovely tan brown colour.
Hello David, DaveW only shows the ribs themselves with no type name. However the latest post in the Tech Help looks like you may be sorted, full size anyway. DaveW has supplied me with machining drawings and is very approachable for advice so I should be OK.
Hello Dave, Sorry so long with the reply. I will be going the 'sensible' route following Dave's design very closely and will be using a BME110 engine as most of the other alternatives are too wide to fit the cowl. Not started it as yet as it was a spur of the moment decision with the investment in p...
Hi Dave, Have just taken delivery of all the available parts from Dave Wigley for his 1:5 Wyvern. I was thinking this was pretty ambitious with a home manufactured undercarriage and contra-prop assembly (just a free-wheeler front prop) but am now suitably humbled. I look forward to your future posts...
