Re: Adrian Rowe-Evans

Adrian was a real gentleman, I have very fond memories of him, especially when I served on the Committee during the late early days of the association.

Mine flew very well on a 3W120 so I would think your DLE111 would be ok for scale flights.

Re: Fuel tank plumping?

Paul, only one vent/overflow is required, with the engine running there is a negative pressure in the tank so the vent acts only one way and when not running, as you will have the end of the fuel tubing from the vent/overflow below the tank(generally dangling below the fuselage), when inverted the f...

Re: Engine options for PFM Giant Zlin

I had two of these models when they were first introduced by Pat French and both flew really well on an OS 60, I even think the 30cc is too large.

Re: Measuring wing/tail incidence?????

Mike, simply just temp. glue a balsa strip with top edge at the centres of the leading and trailing edges, place equal height blocks on the strips and lay a straight edge on the blocks. Place your meter on the straight edge and bingo you can measure the incidence or determine by calculation.

Re: Futaba 2.4 modules and 7 channel RX - any views?

I have been flying a 30% aerobatic for a few weeks with no problems and it is also in ...

John--thanks for posting the info for your event---for anyone who wasnt at the AGM,i informed the meeting that the commitee had decided to remove 3 events from the LMA calender--Wigan --Longhorsley and Duxford--this was because of lack of support at these events in 2010----in total this should save...

LONGHORSLEY 2011

I would just like to point out that despite Dave Johnson's announcement at the AGM that this Event has been dropped by the LMA it is only their support that has been dropped and the actual Event will be taking place at the usual late May Bank holiday weekend. Since it's inception in 1992 it has neve...

Chris,
Two, they are stuck together one behind the other, so I only need one prop but I do need two carbs.

Barrie,
No problem at all using just the one tank, the carbs on my Magister are over 30" / 750mm from the single tank.

Mark, As per full size on ailerons, lead weight on a rod extending from the centre of the aileron leading edge which was contained within the wing structure and protruded below through a slot with up aileron.
