The Canadian MAAC (model aeronautic association of Canada) sent out an advisory a couple of years ago regarding the proximity of cell (mobile) phones in the pits and on the flightline. I have witnessed a case where the flyer, I was standing next to him, had his phone ring and his plane started to fl...

The servos I have that twitch, do it every time. I sent them off the a Hitec repair facility..haven't heard back from them yet.
I've also had some recently purchased 645's buzz and twitch when the radio is switched on. Never had any issues with the older ones and I must have at least 60 of them.
I don't know if I would use just paper. I used the plastic wing covering as it has a shiney finish that wont absorb any resin that gets on it. Paper being slightly porous will soak up any resin that might get on it. You will now have a solid metal/fiberglass tube assy. Make sure to wax very thorough...

If you cover the metal tube with a layer of plastic covering film, ultracote, monocote etc, 3 or 4 good coats of wax, some...
Listening to your video, that sounds like an ignition miss. Do you have the original Chinese plug in it? If so swap it for a NGK, Champion, Bosch etc. Is the spark plug cap pushed onto the plug all the way..high tension lead in good order? Try another ignition module. Pick up sensors have been known...
When was the G38 last run? It may require a carb kit...metering diaphgram no longer supple, inlet needle stuck closed, pump flapper valves stuck or curled up not seating, etc. or as mentioned air leak in the fuel lines. The walbro carb will pull fuel vertically quite a distance.
What are you gents using for a tail wheel retract? I've given up on Kingfisher and no joy from Unitracts, but I was contacted by Dave Brown (Thank you, Dave)who stated he had not had any call for a Welly t/wheel retract unit but would see if anything suitable could be found. I've heard nothing back ...
