Re: EME 120 twin problems

Hi peter. You may well have a carburettor fault but remember this one carb serves both cylinders. You may well have a spark at slow speed a bit behind the other. Their are two ignition systems and very slight differences in coil efficiency, associated components etc can cause this. but still operate...

Re: EME 120 twin problems

Using a process of elimination for a logical fault diagnosis. 1. Ignition system outputs are interchangeable therefore as there is no change after swapping over it rules out ignition fault. 2. Faulty plug, ruled out by fitting new. 3. Good and equal compression on both cylinders precludes them from ...

p1.jpg In a crowded city at a busy bus stop, a woman who was waiting for a bus was wearing a tight leather skirt. As the bus stopped and it was her turn to get on, she became aware that her skirt was too tight to allow her leg to come up to the height of the first step of the bus. Slightly embarras...

Ultrafly Outrage 3D

Hi all. This video shows a model which I am in the process of building, which weighs about 13-14 ounces. It first hit the scene many years ago, early 2000's I believe and became an overwhelming success for its aerobatic performance, durability and good indoor performance too. Apparently it can handl...

Re: CAA Operator I.D...what did we pay for

All Mike is asking for is his operators ID so he can put it on his models. I can't remember if it was emailed to us or if it was included in the last magazine. Sorry, it's this s****en age thing again. Perhaps it could be sent him again Rob. Once he has that he can then figure the best way of puttin...

Re: EME 120 twin problems

Remove the reed valve block and check that all reeds are in good condition and are seating perfectly even if they are new.
Also check the cylinder base gasket on the offending cylinder.

Re: esc extension

Steve, an ESR or equivalent series resistance. If you are using a large electrolytic capacitor with high ESR, all you have to do is place a low ESR capacitor such as a ceramic 0.1 uF capacitor in parallel. [ Note, parallel, not series] Steve Perrys guide of thicker cable twisted together should also...

Thanks for the concern lads. I wasn't physically injured But suffered very bad shock and was in the ambulance for an hour all wired up and more. Wasn't too good at all although thankfully the wife was OK. However it didn't end there. I have been suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia ffor a long time a...

Re: Reciever switches

Agree with the two toggle switches Bob, I always use two batteries with a double pole switch with each one. They are both wired in parallel which in effect means that you have four switches operating. Because of the hard contact action when switched there is a self cleaning action. The slide switche...
