I would look at scrapping the tailwheel in the kit, it's really isn't a good design, more of an afterthought. It contently kicks the rudder over when sat on the ground, not good for the servo. This needs a re-think, maybe an independent tail wheel that just moves freely the rudder is more then capab...

Re: Latest Journal

Image is also a big part of the next generation, The LMA image is old like most of its members, (take that any way you like) sticking with the (if it ant broke don't fix mentality) is the wrong attitude, you of all people should know that. The association need a fresh young look, If the majority vot...

Re: Latest Journal

At last, we seem to be getting somewhere, everybody's opinion counts, Changing the name is not on a whim, it is seen as updating an association that seem to be stuck in the past. We are an aging association and need to reinvent ourselves, we can't just stay as we are. To appeal to a wider audience w...

Re: Latest Journal

I can well imagine there are going to be some against a name change, it is expected, but I have to agree LMA or Large Model Association does bring up something we are definitely not. Its just not clear enough for anyone who doesn't know who we are. Bob we didn't add the O you did, I am well aware w...

Re: Latest Journal

Friend of mine Dean made this ? LMFA Logo.jpeg I like that. Our idea is not to change the LMA logo plane, as it is neutral one, it just seems right. but the rest of it is great, Nigel could I be cheeky and as you to as him to change the plane and do it in a couple of different coloured backgrounds....

No I don't Dave, it costs enough as it is, but as long as everyone is happy with it, that is good enough for me.

Hi Bob, it sits in your outbox until it is picked up by the person you have sent it to, its your indicator that they have read it or not as the case is at the moment.
