Re: Wiring Harness
Hi Nigel,
Apparently they only keep high density now. I have always got them from Maplins, but they tell me they no longer order standard density. I got some from Tinternet.

Re: Wiring Harness
Thanks David, Funnily enough I was just clearing out some storage boxes yesterday and came accross an old Component shop catalogue. I will give them a bell. Thanks Phil, I still have a few Ashloks in stock, but they are not what I need on this occasion. The model is designed to have 15 way "D&q...

Wiring Harness
With the closure of SM Services I no longer have a source of wiring harnesses for my projects. They used to make up my harnesses with good quality JR style plugs and high quality HD silcon covered twisted cable.
Does anyone know of an alternative source please?

Re: Amps or Air for 1/4 scale Wyvern ?
Hi Dave, Firstly, electric retracts are becoming more popular, and offer better reliability. I use retracts extensively and air retracts are a constant source of troubles, not just to me but in my club in general (jet club). Conversly the models we see with electric retracts have been ultra reliable...

Re: Programmable servos
Hi David, firstly are you quite sure that you can program that series of servos with that particular programmer? I had to buy the HFP-25 in order to reprogram some 9xxx series servos. Pehaps you need this for the 5xxx series servos too? I may be able to help but I no longer have the older style prog...

Re: Vac bagging?
This won't work I fear. To get a smooth finish with glass you must have a semi rigid plastic sheet. That is one that is just flexible enough to bend to the aerofoil shape. I have done a lot of vac bagging in the past, but it must be around 10 years since I last did a wing. Back then I used to buy a ...
