Re: CoG advice please - chipmunk

Re: 3W 70cc single Prop size / rpm??

Stuart, 3W are slightly ambitious in their rpm info. On the basis that you have your cooling of the motor sorted and the general normal things needed to run this engine then there are several things to note, fuel/oil ratio, type of oil you are using plus the ignition module. 3W say use 50 or even 80...

Simon, no problem, got your price & was just saying thankyou. I need a reduction gear set for a TC Pup which I believe is the side mounted unit that Ian wants.

I only met Ken a few times but he certainly made anyone welcome. As I said to Gregg Veasey yesterday, "Ken was a good builder, pilot & very likeable all round chap. He is a sad loss to the flying fraternity. You have great memories that you and others will surely cherish". Blue skies M...

Re: Ziroli P51

Hi John, the Ziroli P51 plan/instruction booklet advises that it has no downthrust and approximately 2 degrees of sidethrust. However this is based upon the engine size that the original design was based upon. I would think you need to apply a small amount of downthrust and sidethrust, probably 2 de...

Re: Heinkel He111

have a look at the U/C valve which keeps venting to atmosphere after operation, I think it might be caused by the amount of travel set on the TX , I got the valve from kingfisher but can not get through to them to ask what should be the settings, (I am in Saudi Arabia with work) but, if anyone uses...

Re: Heinkel He111

Haha, guys just for clarification here, yes the throttles were linked, a very nice job of the mechanical connection, but they were not "linked" as the throttles were not set the same! Mr Vodrey and I were chuckling to ourselves in that DW had done such a great job on the aircraft and yet y...

Life has it's finalities whether they be sooner or later. I have not known Dave that long and only briefly when at the various shows with the Dawn Patrol guys, however from my time talking to Dave he was in many ways a gentle chap, filled with adventure but also quiet in his response, knowledgeable ...

Steve, could I add to my request for some of this tube? Dave Whiston is working in Dubai at present and cannot log onto the site, he has asked if I could request that he would like 2 lengths of each size tube please.
Thank you
