Well worth watching is the film https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1153075/

Re: 6.6 life battery’s, versus 6 volt servos

I seem to remember that Futaba say that they are not rated for 7 volts as kicked out by a fully charged Life battery :(

Cue the opening of the diode can of worms again.

Re: Electronics whizz needed, Oxfordshire area

If you need something to mount the solder pin sockets on then try Verostrip, this is srbp board drilled with holes to suit with strips of copper on for soldering to.

Re: More content at shows

Especially considering the new Cosford show format, can we please make sure that the BMFA bring the simulator trailer and can we book BBC Breakfast's Mike Bushell ! A nice slot on Sat morning should work wonders for the numbers attending ! Picture the scene, Dave's Vulcan, Mike asking if he can have...

As an aid to getting bums on seats lets try rentacrowd :) A deal could be done with the Scout Association with drastically discounted camping rates, they can work out how many to cram into the allocated space, comes with supervision for them, gets them interested in the hobby :) Issue attendees with...

Re: Show helpers and pilots

For those with helpers that are not yet pilots, how about having 2 duty pilots ( a mode 1 and a mode 2 ) available at the pilots box ? Lets say for example there are 20 Dawn Patrol in the air, is it really needed to have the 20 helpers ready to grab the TX rather than retreat to the pits area until ...

An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h in 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with Tempo Mach 2 appears. The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus flight, bor...

Re: Cheddar Fly-in 2019

Cheddar can be used as a base for visiting Woodsprings and / or Yeovilton airshow on 13th July so the dates look good. Visits to Cosford 6-7th, Yeovilton 13th and Woodsprings 14th are possible :) Personally as a weekend day visitor to Cheddar it is not ideal as shows get in the way lol Can it be a 2...

I also vote for a National 68, they can be found on ebay from £150 upwards, our club has 2 of them and they are very cheap to maintain as they are belt drive with no hyperbollocks, just 26 grease nipples that need lubricating a few times a year :) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NATIONAL-RIDE-ON-LAWN-MOW...
