Re: Do you like building

I have been building model aircraft for 67 years,so I am either a masochist,or I enjoy it.People who say that they do not have the time to build annoy me.If you want to do it ,you will find the time.I used to be in my beloved shed a 5.00am to do some building before going to work.I think, however tha...

Dave,I have been using it for possibly 18 months now.No problems at all.I have it in my Multiplex 3030.I also have one of their height sensing modules,it is about the size of a 5pence piece and gives audio and visual indication of height and rate of climb or descent. It is nice to know when I am at 4...

central fuel tank

Anybody out there used a central fuel tank feeding two petrol engines? My latest project has more room in the fuselage than the engine bay.Motors have Walbro carbs and it is about 15", in old money, from fuselage centre line to engine centre line.

civil aircraft versus military aircraft

How nice to see photographs of models of civilian aircraft adorning the picture of the month slot.Any newcomer to our forum, visiting the new projects posts, would think that our members only make WW1 and 2 fighters, with the occasional Lancaster and Vulcan thrown in to the mix.Is it because the member...

Re: MPX 3030 /JETI DUPLEX 2.4 GHZ

A whole new can of worms.Does it mean that OFCOM only allows the use of manufacturers complete systems,if that is the case, how many users are flying with illegal equipment. What is the morality around distributors selling such equipment and the modeling press reviewing it.Jeti state in their literatu...
