Call me a defeatest, call me stupid or just plain lazy. I've taken the test on the CAA website, paid my £9 and got my user and operator id.s. Sit back, put me feet up and careless about the whole affair. Job done.

Just rejoin as a "Country Member". Several of us did this a few years ago when we were between clubs. You keep the same membership number and your qualifications ie, A, B or Examiner certificates. I think you get the BMFA magazine every month as well.

I've just built and glassed a 1/4 scale Chippy from the Gerry Bates plan and Belair kit for my mate, Mike Whitehead. He got the cowl and canopy from Phil Clarke at Fighter Aces. The model is now with Mike for finishing.
