Re: VERY SAD NEWS

Our thoughts are with Dave's family. He was a very special, funny, caring man. He also was an incredible hard worker.

To say we are shocked and sad is an understatement. We have a lot to thank Dave for.

Re: My kinda' gal..

I had heard this news while we were at Elvington. A chap from the Elvington museum was interviewed on the radio. He said that they have one of her uniforms on display - she was not a heavily built lady, but she flew four engined bombers single handed.

Re: Fun stuff goes here.

Bad news for Scottish Tories.

It looks possible that the ratio of Tory MPs to pandas in Scotland might reduce from a half to a third.

Spices

In the current Journal there is a page reporting upon the catering at East Kirkby, with sidetracks into the activities of the YOFs. At the end of the article I offer to obtain spices for folk that want them. We hope to be at Southport, and then at Cosford and Elvington. If you do want any - please a...

Richard,
Have a look at :-

http://www.sky-craft.co.uk/acatalog/Skycraft_Home_Builder_Permit_Aircraft_Coverings_Diatex.html

This is a site that supplies stuff for 100% scale human carrying aircraft. It contains lots of useful info.

True story in response to you mentioning ICU. Sad but true! When Mrs. Hairy Dave was still working she had to visit many of the wards. On one was a nurse who had designer spectacles. The designer's name, three words, was written on the side bar for all to see, except that her hair hung down and cove...

In another place there are some videos of indoor flying http://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=92489.

Perhaps some of you might like to include some of these moves in their displays

Well done Paul.

You have found the party piece to open the next AGM. Oh to be in the Committee meetings over the next year when they rehearse it.

Re: Just be Careful Out There...

I quite like sprouts. My wife does not. She will usually eat just one or two sprouts at Christmas.

This year we were having steaks for Christmas, and I decided to make a coleslaw using sprouts instead of cabbage. It was a success, and my wife came back for more.
