Flew it today at Weston Park, broke it today at Weston Park!!!!

Not too bad though. A wheel and axle departed on touch down and so the leg dug in a tad. :(

It'll be ready to go again at Wobbly wheels along with another 3 or 4 :)

Check a few posts back mike, that's all done. I have two fuel dots in front of the canopy, one for the smoke and one for the fuel. The overflow is now neatly underneath too. ;)

Yep, mine flew today. The issues I had to face were the fan thing not cooling the engine, the prop being larger than normally used on G62's (but it looked great), the CG position not really known for ideal yet........and the fact that I was shaking like a dog that was desperate!! Nice one Steve. Once the YAK is test flown and fully sorted, the next job on my list (before finishing the Bearcat) is fit the new engine into the Thunderbolt!!

Boring update I'm afraid. My YAK is progressing but taking pics of hinges being stuck in or radio gear being mounted didn't seem very exciting.
