I have for some years, carried my BMFA, LMA and club cards in my Tx case. Seems logical. I can add my B and LMA prof to the wad- it will help insulate the transmitter!

3mm is tiny. I shall just print off a load of sticky labels and put them somewhere inconspicuous. Finding the number on a large model could become a game...

Ronseal works well. Trouble is it does not shrink. For tissue we used to wet it, let it almost dry, then put it on with thinned dope. What about lightweight glass cloth? You can then use Roneal or Pond Sealer.
