On another forum, it was posted that the fuselage contained a helium balloon/cell, hence the weight of only 230 grams for a 2M wing span

Have a search for pictures of G-SAMZ it was my boss's C150 in the early 80's and from memory it had a nice Eagle logo on the fin.

I've just been watching the Discovery History channel and they are running a "Classic British Aircraft" series at the moment and the Beverly was one of the featured aircraft, with some nice interior shots for some scale details?

It's a great site, I've been using it for a few years now as with my call package I can call any "geographical" ie 01604 etc for free but get hammered for those non-geographical 084/087 numbers

I've got a box of assorted springs from Halfords ( code HBB134) there's a couple that might be suitable just depends if they will be stiff enough

edit: To compress them by 50% takes 280 ~ 350 grams
