Hi Bob, has a name been anounced yet? It could be the female plot.

Re: What is it

John, as this is situated in the middle of no-where, on the coast/marsh land near Stiffkey, north Norfalk. I would think it is something to do with gunnery training. Maybe a round the pole flying target.

Re: What is it

Hi John, Obviously i wasn't around in the 50's but ive heard tales of ground based aerials for early Tx. I belive these had to be pointed at the receiver. Is your photo of one of these aerials?

Re: Spacewalker half scale 168" electric

Andy, I used the same clevises on a model as you have on your servo arms. I found that on the first flight i lost the "C" clip from the end of the pin. luckerly i spotted this before the pin removed itself, since then I replace the pin with a bolt and lock nut, not as pretty, but much safe...

P47 Cockpit

It seems that the cockpit is quite important on these new warbirds, so i thought i would add some pictures of my current project. It is a P47 called "In The Mood" and It was flown by Gerald Johnson over europe.

Re: FPV Interference on 2.4Ghz

If the camera system transmits on 2.4 ghz at 1000mw, and that will swamp all 2.4 ghz model rc systems, what system does the aircraft carrying the camara use?
If anyone is interested in these illigal camaras they are being advertised by Hobbyking (PRODUCT ID: CP100024RX12T)

Duxford

I have recently read 2 postings on this forum regarding the incident at Duxford, it appears that both of them have been removed without explanation. I have seen the clip from local tv news on youtube, It mentions the motorway closure but nothing else. can anyone tell me what has happened? thanks

Morning John, If you have photos of the origanal you are modelling, is it posible to draw the letters in a drawing program. At school we use 2D design for simple things like this, I could get you a copy if required or have a go myself if you send the photos and sizes. If It is the infomation you req...

Re: Giant Models at Public Shows

Having read the previoce comments, it seems the problem is there are a limited number of slots and the larger percent of these are being flown by a handfull of pilots. my first point is we must remember the paying public have come to see model aircraft and not the pilots (althou some pilots can disp...

Re: venting petrol tank

If you wish to collect every little bit of fuel which might escape down the vent pipe, why not fit a small can (tank)inline on the vent pipe. any fuel running out of the main tank will be trapped in the second empty tank. if this tank is plumbed correctly the fuel collected while inverted will run b...

If you take the vent pipe from the top of the tank and run it to the underside if the fusalage you should be ok.
