Which is best

Postby John Evans » November 3rd, 2011, 3:12 pm

Hi
Looking to build a couple of lightweight electric models.
Which is best to work with and, or the most durable.
EPP or DEPRON or A N O

For indoor stuff I would keep to depron and carbon but for light outdoor stuff I would personally go for epp with carbon.

If it gets a knock it with stands it better and you can use normal cyano on it.

John,
myslef and my son Sam fly a lot of foamies. Some are over 2 years old - but only the EPP ones. Depron has a habit of disintergrating when bashed, which happens a lot with foamies. EPS is also very britlle. We only use EPP for all our own build models. Sam even does indoor combat flying with an EPP plane and it is still flying !

Cheers, Andy
