Talking of Props.
I am currently refurbishing my Halls Springfield Bulldog, I was running a 38x12 c/fibre prop from fuchs in germany. A 36x14 would be ok. A 36x16 gives 5000 rpm, which for a racer is too loo, I am aiming for around 6000 to 6500 rpm.
The engine is a 275cc 3W twin with home made can silencers which improve rpm slightly but off set by using an air filter. Who in the uk can supply me with any props in this size range either wood or carbon ?. Or other suggestions on sizes.

May 'The west country gang' wish all dawn patrolers and all our lma friends a very merry christmas and a prosperous new year, It has been a pleasure knowing you all and flying with such a superb group. 2012 will be a fantastic year, All the best, Pat and the gang.

Hi Pat, if you can't get an off the shelf item to suit, Dave Pullinger is a fine maker of propellors. Its a shame that 36" x 16" won't do as Mick Reeves has that size available on offer at £30 I'll get Daves number to you if you need it.

Ian.
