aluminium fork ends

Postby barrie burton » April 5th, 2014, 8:11 am

I am trying to find a source of aluminium fork ends that I can use to connect wing struts to wing and fus and be screw adjustable in order to adjust to length.Model is 10ft span and weighs 30lb.

Any ideas,please.

Barry,
Have a look at SLEC web site in the accessories part, they have some clevis ends machined from solid alum.

you could also contact Chris Poyser, in the dawn patrol, he makes decent clevices for the team, i think from memory, the slec ones are tapped 3mm,

No, maybe next year, Still trying to sort a workshop out, just no room at the moment to work on an average size model, never mind anything big
