bvm heat proof paint

Postby Mike altham » February 3rd, 2015, 12:07 pm

I am just wondering if there is a commercially available heat proof ceramic paint like the bvm stuff as I need quite a lot of the stuff.

Hi Mike, have you tried the ceramic matting that Maitland Banff uses? That matting is extremely good.
Send him a PM

Yes there is......can't for the life of me remember where I got it from, but I bought a 1ltr tin several years ago at a fraction of the cost of the BVM stuff..........just Google ceramic heat proof paint.

Thanks for all the tips. Cannot use matting as need to get into small gaps.

Tried search that phil but they all seem to be sprays, no tins to brush on.
