Servo Slow.

Hi,
Does anyone know which make of Servo slow will work with Futaba (10C) 2.4 radio gear? I've tried SM Services, Ripmax Xtra and Turnigy. All seem to have problems with Futaba 2.4 radio gear.

It has nothing to do with 2.4, 35, 27 or any other frequency.
I think you'll find that servo slow devices do not work with the average retract servos, crazy I know, but servo slow devices only work with proportional servos whereas retract servos are usually switched, some however are proportional, sorry I can't tell you which.

Thanks for the replies. I'm using standard servo's with the servo slow's and not retract ones. The Futaba 10C doesn't have the servo slow feature on it, for that function you have to move up to the 12 channel outfit (so Futaba tell me). The devices work on 35meg gear but not very well on 2.4 where the servo's tend to pulse when they reach the end of their travel or kick on start up.

Mmmmm, odd!
The Turnigy servo slow works with my Spekky gear when used with mini 14g Logic 135°proportional retract servos, though the operation is not perfect.
With this Turnigy unit the down sides are that the slower the retract speed you dial in the greater the delay before the servo actually responds, to the point that the slowest retract speed equates to a delay of a full 10 seconds from operating the Tx switch to the time the retracts start to operate, up or down, then a further about 3 seconds to sequence in whatever direction!
Another undesirable quirk is that the first few degrees of servo operation, the unlocking & locking phase, is particularly slow while the bit that matters the actual operation is faster and could do with being slower!

Hi Rob,
Does your servo pulse at the end of its travel? I'm using Hi-Tec 645MG's they don't kick on start up but at the end of it's travel it tends to pulse very slowly, this is with the Turnigy unit.
