Comtemplating my first petrol engine

I am looking to purchase a petrol engine to power my 20% Hawker Hurricane and wondered if any members could give me any guidance on what, in their view, are the best and most reliable. I am hoping to find one that I can be completely enveloped in the cowl and then use the radiator inlet as the intake and outlet for cooling puposes, I intend to fabricate an exhaust system that will mirror the full sized aircraft and also to use the scale carb intake to provide a feed to the engine.

Help and comments would be appreciated.

In one of the latest mags a chap has reviewed the DB Hurricane. 88" and around 20lbs. He used a Zenoha 45. Carb and trumpet are exposed but will perform very well.

I have a DB Hurricane. 88" span which flies very well on an enclosed Zenoah38 and a carb bend/trumpet thru' the firewall...

Hi Kevin,
In all the 1/5 scale warbirds i have built and flowen they all need nose weight. They also flew a lot faster than people now a days think, i've found the best combo is Zenoah 62CC if the model is over 26lbs all up, less and the 45 will be fine.

Thanks for the comments guys. I am going to try and keep the weight low around 22lbs which will enable me to use a 38 an with some serious thought fully enclose it.
