Big clevis needed

Postby John Greenfield » June 2nd, 2010, 6:33 am

Help please.

Some time ago I brought some large aluminium clevises with a 4mm removable pin. I now need some more but I can not remember where I got them from. The clevis body is aluminium and is threaded for a 3mm pushrod, the clevis pin is removable and is retained by a built in clip. (see pic).
Any advice on where to obtain some of these would be appreciated although to finish my Tiger Moth project I only need one more. Would be happy to buy more for stock though.

Thanks Greg, but when I rang TJD they did not have any in stock and they no longer deal with Protech.

Anyone else got any ideas ?

All

Just located some at 308 Hobbies (famous shop on the Hollaway Road, London). I have brought their entire stock as they say that they can not get them anymore.

Oh well. I was going to offer to get them for you and take to Baldock on Sunday (assuming you are there?)

There are a few packets at TJD if you do want more

John, if you want to go stainless, I may have some with a 4mm thread and a 3mm pin, Swiss made 1 left hand and one right hand thread per pair.
