Hi Just upgrading my fleet to 2.4. Has anybody known an issue with having both the RX and Satelitte in the fuzz (ie not visable in the canopy) the Fuzz is balsa but its epoxy coated and finished in silver wheel spray. Just spent the last couple of months adding panel lines and rivets to my Mustang and don't want to spread it across a wide area :(
Also doing the same with my Spit and that has an epoxy Fuzz, again same question about the RX and satelitte.

Cheers

Andy

I have Hangar 9 Mustang 85" and have two satellites and the Spectrum 9000 reciever.
I have put the satelites one about 1/4 of the way from the leading edge of the wing and stuck on the fuselage side the receiver is underneath the cockpit near the trailing edge bulk head and the other sat behind the bulkhead mounted on the side all at different angles. Doesnt seem to be a problem. Depends if you are doing your grass cutting !!!!!!!> Shall I see you at EK

The Tigercat we built from Ali last year was on 2.4 (2 x AR12000's with 3 satalites per RX. 4 burries inside the fuz, and 2 in each inboard wing panel behind the retract units) The model was full composite, and was mostly sprayed in 'Halfords' metalic silver...............we experienced no radio related issues what so ever.

Ok thanks for the replies, shouldn't have an issue then, Although i am using the AR7000, which only has 1 satelite. Will give it a all attitude range check before i fly her.
Yes Den i have booked myself into EK for Easter, really looking forward to extending the runway
