hi as I am newbie to this forum I have serveal planes etc but all are basla wood and solarfilm covered or painted etc but I am now returning to the flying etc next year as I need to rebuild my fleet! i see glassing are the norm nowdays what is glassing define as ?? it is a firbeglass cloth and using resin to stick it to balsa wood ??? or it is a mixture of epoxy and resin and then brush the liquid on to the basla??? when I mean firbeglass cloth it is like the cloth u use for cars?? from halford etc etc ?? nor it is a polyuerthane liquid??? sorry for so many questions etc Andy

I have had 2 spitfires both were smaller etc compared to you guys!! right saved the link to firbeglass website. are all petrol zeaoah engines pure petrol or mixed with oil like u do with 2 strokes ?

Petrol is mixed with oil. People use different amounts . Usually though its 40 /1 or 50/1 . Also the use of fully synthetic oils is common . Keeps the mess down .
Everyone has there view which is best or works best for them.
