Hi all, I am trying to find a source for low temp silver solder. I think it’s called Stay Brite. I am told it flows at 450c not at 600c+ Any help would be appreciated.

Suggest British Oxygen depots but probably cheaper from the model engineer suppliers like Reeves.

Many thanks Chris, I phoned both BOC and Reeves, they both said it does not exist in there product range. I have found it in the US but cannot post to the UK due to the flux is very corrosive.

You appear to be looking way below what is regarded as the silver soldering range. Johnson-Matthey Silver-Flo seems representative; Silverflo55 at the "low" temperature end 618degC and Silverflo 1 if you want around the 1000C! Silverflo is a cadmium-free general purpose material.

Try this company, I 've used them several times, very helpful.

Many thanks for all your help today. I have now found UK supplier’s see links below. I did phone Cupalloys twice today, very unhelpful. Normal silver solder’s temp would destroy the item that I need to solder.
