Measuring wing/tail incidence?????

Hi guys
I have a tiny problem. On the nimrod I have the incidence to be set at 0 0. But the centre section is around 1600 mm chord. How do I do it as they don't make metres that big do they?
Cheers
Mike

Mike, simply just temp. glue a balsa strip with top edge at the centres of the leading and trailing edges, place equal height blocks on the strips and lay a straight edge on the blocks. Place your meter on the straight edge and bingo you can measure the incidence or determine by calculation.

Hi john
Thanks for that
Stupid question but would you measure the incidence from the outer of the centre section to set the tail or would you take it from the outer wing panels. But these have 2 degrees of washout in them?
Cheers

Mike,
Measure at the wing root.
