Can anyone assist in showing with a few sketches etc,how the above motor AND throttle linkage is fitted to a 1/3 Pup firewall please.
The main problem as I can see is with the Throttle linkage set-up itself and also the actual position of where the carb needs to be pointed. ( is a carb trumpet required, and also does it need to go to the outside of the radial cowling ) ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here you go
Fitted to my Balsa USA 1/3rd pup. Trumpet is an option but reduces the fuel mess in the cowl. This set up uses a secondary exhaust can and sounds just the best

In my second pup the whole thing is rotated so the standard exhaust is at the bottom. The exhaust is modified with a pipe coming out of it and the slitted outlet soldered up
Hope that helps

Hi Simon

Many thanks for the pic , it was a great help.
I intend to use the S/S tuned pipe from Toni Clark so I may invert the motor as you have done in your other Pup .

The throttle link up is now easier to understand also lol

If I do have probs I will get back to you.

Regards

Mike
