I'm having a workshop clear-out and came across an engine I forgot I had, I bought it new about 20 odd years ago and although I never did run it, I seem to typically have lost the box and the associated manuals... Its a BOMO B20 ... Its a boxer twin four stroke which drives the prop off of the camshaft ... so the props running at half crank revs ..... I'd like to convert it to petrol and fit it in my dusted down Sommer Monoplane wing warper ... I think it would be spot on and sound just right ... Does anyone on the forum have any info on this lump and any advice on the best route for doing a twin spark conversion .. thanks in anticipation ... Jim

The Bomo was imported and distributed by just engines as a specialist engine. perhaps they still have manuals etc?

I think most went to collectors as I can't remember seeing one actually hauling a plane around.
